Helgaard van der Vyver
Manager and Professional Hunter of Okandukaseibe.
Helgaard was born in Gobabis, Namibia on the 15 th March 1975. He is the youngest son of the six children, Burry & Leny van der Vyver had. Growing up on a farm and under the guidance of Dad and his 3 older brothers, he learned the art of hunting from an early age.
Helgaard spend his teenage years in South - Africa where he finished school from the Paarl Gymnasium High School in 1993.
He then decided to ' roughen ' it and worked on a deep sea fishing boat for a year. Helgaard always knew where ' home ' was and returned to Namibia to stay.
Longing for the outdoors and hunting he started working as a ' handy man ' on a hunting farm. He slowly worked his way up and changing from hunting farms until he got the chance to do his Hunting Guide license.
Helgaard met his wife Christine along the way and proceeded to become Professional Hunter and Manager of a Hunting and Guestfarm.
To gain even more experience, he conducted ' freelance ' Professional Hunting for two years all over Namibia. Helgaard's strong ties with his wife and children, made him decide to settle down on a farm again as Manager and Professional Hunter.

Owner of the Farm Okanduka Seibe and Master Hunting Guide in Namibia.
Born 1939 in Sorau. Education to an medical doctor for internal medizin. Private praxis since 1972, specialised in Gastro Enterologie, Tropic Medizin and Cardiologie.
From 1992 Hunting Guide in Namibia advanced to a Master Hunting Guide (MHG). Right of Permanent Residency in Nambia since more then ten years. Married since 2003 to Claudia von Seck.
Aside hunting and falconary license in Germany, former Touristguide in Italy, sailor on a international cargo chip. Languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish.
Active member of the German Namibian Culture Association, giving controlled donations to a nearby comunal area especially for education, medical exchange and initiation of small enterprises to preveous disadvanced Namibians.
Active member SCI (Safari Club International, Dallas U.S.A.) and Napha.
